Note:
You will be riding on an abandoned railbed; expect
a wide range of surface conditions, from hard packed
gravel to loose, unconsolidated railway ballast.
This trail is generally unsuitable for street bikes,
and will require a bike with wider tires for soft
surfaces. |

Located
283 km east of Vancouver and 134 km east of Hope on Highway
3, the town of Princeton is situated in the foothills of the
Cascade Mountains where the Tulameen and Similkameen rivers
meet. Fur trading was the initial draw to the area, followed
by gold mining and later coal mining. The area offers a wide
range of outdoor recreation opportunities and downtown Princeton
is an excellent starting point to begin your bicycle ride
along the Trans Canada Trail.
